*** 2020 Halloween Costume Contest Winner Announcement ***

Many thanks to all who entered our Halloween Costume Contest! Your costumes were truly spectacular this year and it was wonderful to see you all getting into the Halloween spirit in spite of the pandemic.

It goes without saying that we're big fans of big monsters here at Stan Winston School. So perhaps this year's winning Halloween Costume had an unfair advantage. But when the "King of the Monsters" comes knocking on your door on All Hallows' Eve, you had better give him the biggest treat you have or risk being disintegrated by his atomic breath!

Therefore, Ladies and Gentlemen, it is our pleasure to present the 2020 Halloween Costume Contest winner, KaijuKrys for his walkaround Godzilla suit

Along with his submission, KaijuKrys wrote, "This Godzilla suit was handmade by scratch using various foam fabrication methods found in the Stan Winston School Kaiju suit making course. The head was sculpted out of WED clay and cast in latex over fiberglass under skeleton forms. There’s a built-in fan inside at the base of the neck which blows in fresh air and there’s an opening behind his tongue which lets the heat coming off my body rise up and out like a chimney effect. I can last about 45 minutes inside the suit before feeling like passing out haha."

We're so happy that our online courses helped you make your epic Godzilla suit a reality, KaijuKrys. We hope you enjoy the Grand Prize sponsored by our friends at Distortions Unlimited!
