Guess who forgot to put mold release in the plaster mold BEFORE applying the epoxy? ME! Guess who gets to redo the plaster mold? ME! BOOOO! See you all tomorrow.
I think you should make walls for the mold so it can be in two parts and easier for the unmold process. Also if you are using plaster band make sure to don't put to much water on it because it might end in a dead plaster and you don't want to have that
Geoffroy, It was in two pieces. I just forgot to put mold release in the plaster mold BEFORE I put in the Epoxy/fiberglass. I just finished taking the new mold off the sculpture and am ready to epoxy again.

Plaster off! If you have a compressor, a few quick squirts of air between the plaster and sculpture helps separate them.
A little air to help release.
