Day of the Dead Catrina Toy Chica (FNAF)
The entire cosplay is made using 5mm EVA foam. I hand made all the flowers on her head and her chest using 2mm craft foam. The flowers buds were made with foamclay, wire and flower tape. I also made all the beads using foamclay for the necklace. I glued each piece of foam using contact cement and covered any open areas with foam clay if needed. I hand drew and dremeled all the engravings on the legs, feet, and hands. I hand drew the letters and cut out the words "Estamos Aqui". I made my own dress pattern using Chica's body to sew the dress. I hand drew the candy skull on her skirt, carefully cut out, and airbrushed the design. I cut the gold design using an iron on vinyl. I hand painted the entire body and added a lot of weathering to make her look like she came right out of the cemetery. I 3D printed the eyes and installed a servo motor to make the eyes move side to side. There are red fairy lights inside halloween mini skulls on her head to make the eyes glow. I soldered some red LED lights (and used LED strips) for the inside of her head as well as the eyes and candle for the cupcake. The cupcake is made from styrofoam balls and foam clay. I sculpted the head to look like a semi-realistic candy skull. The plate is made with a plastic party plate sandwiched between 5 mm EVA foam. I also painted and weathered the cupcake. The hand with the cupcake has a button so I can turn the lights on and off. The other hand can articulate the fingers. The beak is detachable with magnets since Chica has two variations of how her face looks. I added moss to may parts of her body for weathering. From start to finish, Chica took me 7 months to complete (total of 274 hours and 45 minutes).
