Which courses/pathways are the best for prospective mascot/fursuit makers?
Title pretty much sums it up. I'm a little overwhelmed by all the courses offered here. I eventually want to make creature suits, but right now I'm focusing on simpler suits. However, I want to make them top-of-the-line quality. I can't ask the bot, because it won't give me an answer, so maybe you guys can help!
(I do plan on going through all of the pathways eventually.)

Chris Ellerby AdminDepending on the type of suit, we have a number of courses that could help.
This course can help with the foundation of the suit.
Muscle Suit Fabrication

Then you would make an outer suit using traditional sewing techniques.
You can also check out our foam fabrication courses that could help create heads or larger forms.

Darrell Green ✭✭✭@Jocelyn Jordan, to be fair, your question is both ends of the learning curve... basics but with end goal of high quality. Here are my two suggestions for classes to get from A to Z.
The design start (focus on patterning not the full blown course, has entire section on foam heads though, as well):
https://www.stanwinstonschool.com/tutorials/how-to-fabricate-a-monster-suit-1-design-pattern-prototype
Then the how to basics (basics emphasized) for fabrication of undersuit, fur suit and extras... cape, feet, etc. (jump to the lesson on werewolf and continue all the way to the end of the pathway for feet and accessories).

Hope this helps.
