How do you change the color on fake fur?
I'm going to repurpose a couple large monster bodies from other movies for a new movie to help save on costs for them.
These are both large furry monsters, and I want to simply recolor the entire body and we are adding a latex mask/hands/feet to make it work. Suggestions on how to change the color of fake fur?
One of them is literally just a fur suit, like a sasquatch mass produced costume that was used for a body. Something that I can soak in a rubbermade tote if that's an option.
The second one is a more difficult, it's a large costume that has the fir already mounted onto foam and the structure. So, I can't remove it to work on. Is there a way to change colors on fur in these instances?
