The Bride Reanimated
A re-envisioning of the classic Elsa Lancaster "Bride". Seven foam latex prosthetic appliances were used here (front of neck, two on the back of the neck overlapping for full exposed musculature, side of the face to incorporate stitching & very thin eyebrow covers). all pieces painted with layers of PAX paint. Details on the neck painted with PAX reduced to a translucent wash with Liquitex Acrylic Medium. The exposed muscle was pre-glossed with Monster Makes Flex Gloss. Makeup colors were primarily Skin Illustrator's "Fronkenstein" and "Lividity" with other colors mottled utilizing Spraygunner's No-Name airbrushed and Mini-Gun. The look was finished with a purchased lace-front wig, lace eyebrows and contact lenses supplied by Cosmic Contacts. The corset is white leather distressed with leather paints and the "gloves" were white ribbon stitched together and tea-stained.
