2026 Halloween Costume Contest- Captain America (Steve Rogers) Iron Patriot Costume
Hello, my name is Tyler. I made this fully functional electronic Captain America Iron Patriot suit. It's entirely 3D printed. It's made primarily from PLA and resin. I did cast the joints in flexible silicone. The base design of the suit is actually the War Machine Mark 6 armor and I redesigned the chest piece in blender to accommodate the glowing star arc reactor.
The paints used are high-quality automotive paint. The entire suit has a basecoat of chrome duralumen. The concept design for the suit is from @i_am_irondaddy on Instagram where I first seen he made a custom 1/6 scale figure of this suit
Captain America is one of my favorite characters and my thought behind this costume was if Tony Stark ever made Steve a suit this would be it.
I included two links to the suit one is a showcase of the suit and the other is a behind the scenes look from start to finish of how I built the suit. Please have a look.
