Sourcing Parts In the UK

Good evening, 

I am looking at the Mechanical courses and struggling to source the parts in the UK. Over here there is no one like McMaster Carr, does any UK or EU based makers know anywhere to source these products, ideally all or mostly from one place?

I frequent two places online, here at SWSCA and therpf.com. A UK resident from therpf was kind enough to volunteer this as a McMaster like source:

I have tested out the search field at the top of that page. It looks very promising for bearings, hinges, rods and all things electric and electronic. They also look to be global, so I made sure to pick their UK site for testing.
