Aquatic Alien latex mask

A display mask I made while studying at The Adelaide College of the Arts last year. The markings are based on a male Mandarin Fish. Latex reinforced with fiberglass sheet and airbrushed with liquitex inks.

    I like this guy. Does the fiberglass serve as a support structure rather than polyfoam or something like that?

    Yes Matthew that's exactly what it does. I just brush on a layer of latex and then push on the fiberglass sheet while its still wet :)

    Great job! I am getting BFA degree and wanted to ask where you order the materials for this kind of work. Looks like you've used only high-quality (which means expensive) supply.
