Seeking help with proper eye hole spacing silicone mask

I've been working on making silicone masks making for roughly a year. I basically follow the same epoxy resin version stan winston teaches via immortal masks. Obviously, no where close to their level but im progressing. After many trial and error core adjustments and other set backs im finally at decent place with overall proficiency.

The newest hurdle seems to be proper eye hole opIve either made them too big and therefore looks fake or now too small and had to do some trimming. Most recent version, the opening of the eye hole pulls and rubs on the wearers inner upper eye lid. I have expanded and reduced the core head circumference a few times but doesn't seem to matter. I'm thinking my eyes around the nose and brow of my core might need to be more recessed more. Not sure if that's going to help or make it worse. Also, the core shown above is like version 1 of 5. Ive reduced the jaw line and cheeks substantially. It was a life cast of myself modified to a core.

I could be wrong, but to me, it looks like part of the issue is that the eyelids are sculpted as part of the character, and silicone masks typically use the performer's eyelids and blend a bit further out around the eye.  That's why performers often wear eye makeup to blend into the mask.

Thanks Chris. I may have been a little too close to the elephant to see the real issue but you are absolutely right. In hindsight it seems like such an obvious adjustment. Either way, appreciate answering my softball of a question. Again, thanks and appreciate the help!
