Here is my second entry for the 2026 Halloween Costume Contest! 🎀🧸
This look is my own 2D-illustrated twist on the iconic creepy doll Annabelle (character concept credit: The Conjuring / Annabelle Universe).
Hand-Drawn Details: I hand-drew and custom-colored the vibrant red hair bows to give the entire look a pop-out, comic/storybook feel that matches the overall aesthetic!
Makeup & SFX Technique: I hand-painted all the porcelain cracks, wood-grain doll joints, dramatic 2D eye contours, and doll shading onto my skin to make the transformation look like a living, breathing eerie doll.
I loved bringing a stylized, creepy-cute vibe to this legendary horror character. Hope you all enjoy it! 🖤🩸
