alternatives to krylon dulling spray?

I have been looking around online and at local stores for a while, and I can't seem to find anywhere that has dulling spray in stock. Are there any alternatives that help prevent the hydrocal from sliding off the sculpture that are more readily available in the US?

    While I've not tried it personally, I hear inexpensive hairspray can work as an alternative.

    one alternative is to use Ultracal so you can layer it..Hydrocal is a bit fussy about not being layered well
    Furniture polish is a good home remedy to "coat/seal/release" for molding
