The traditional seaming and patching process involves trimming away the seam, which leaves an indent where the seam was, then you go back and patch it with the same pigmented silicone used to cast the primary piece. Normally when preparing your silicone for a run you can mix up a little extra of the pigmented side to use later during patching.
