Would this work with rubber glass?

Could you also mix blood or acrylic pigments in rubber glass? Because it has to dry out would this work ?and could I paint over it with blood or alcohol paints and encapsulate this with fresh rubber glass? Would this encapsulation also work when I put maybe wool on it to create a old magic texture ?
