Third week in using an airbrush here. Does anyone suggest using RD 407 to paint latex masks or is there something better? Thank you 🙏

RD 407 mixed with acrylics will work for painting a latex mask, but there are a lot of different methods and materials that will work in addition to that.
Our lesson "Latex Mask Painting Techniques" with Tim Gore and Casey Love is a great starting point as it has 2 instructors using different materials and techniques:
https://www.stanwinstonschool.com/tutorials/latex-mask-painting-techniques
We also have a lesson on latex mask painting called "How To Paint A Monster Mask" with Steve Wang that covers a great deal as well:

And to cover the entire process from sculpting to casting and painting you can check out the"How To Make A Latex Rubber Mask" series with Timothy Martin that has a ton of detail.

Hope that helps!
