Silicone stripping and repaint

Wondering if anyone has found a safe and SUCESSFUL method for "stripping" a "sealed/matted" silicone paintjob? I have a silicone mask i was to do a rehaul on but do not really want to slap silicone paint over silicone paint...did a test rud with a little naptha and no effect.

  • I've never heard of anyone stripping silicone paint before.  Since silicone paint is mostly silicone itself you would be trying to remove silicone from silicone.  Basing it out and painting over it may be your best option, but then there are translucency concerns.
