Help with silicone cast filling material

Hi !

We have made a cast out of dragon skin silicone. We used Soama foam to fill the cast but it is rather expensive option. Are there any other options that could be cheaper to fill silicone casting with something elastic that would stick to silicone ?

    Almost any foam will work as long as it meets your needs for density/flexibility.  The primary challenge is nothing really wants to stick to silicone other than silicone.   One thing you can try is to press cotton into the inside of the silicone before it is fully cured, and when it is peeled away it should leave embedded fibers in the silicone.  This can give the foam something to grab onto for a mechanical bond.
