T H E F U N H O U S E

My halloween costume this year is my original design based on the idea of a funhouse/carnival monster. I was inspired by Rick Baker's work in Tobe Hooper's 1981 film "The Funhouse". I designed this mask on Z-Brush, 3D scanned my model and sculpted my design in Le Beau Touche clay on my 3D printed bust. I created a fibreglass mould and ran my mask in silicone with a soft foam inner. I then finished my mask by painting, hair punching and making a 3D printed eye. This mask was my final project of my Masters Degree at Falmouth University with Neill Gorton.

  • Wonderful work! If this doesn't scare everybody I don't know what else it could be:) Are the eyes on the one without teeth?
  • Thank you! Yes they’re the models own eyes :)
