Silicone Casting

Hello Everybody! 
I’m looking to sculpt and mold some smaller pieces. I had a few questions on the casting process. I want them made out of silicone but I have absolutely no idea what silicone product to use to get the job done. Also what is the ideal sculpting material and mold making material to use to cast in silicone? I was planning on using monster clay since I have a lot on hand, but am open to suggestions.

    Monster clay is a good clay for what you mentioned.   To cast in silicone you usually want a rigid mold, so any type of resin/epoxy/fiberglass mold would work.  If you are on a budget, Ultracal 30 can work.
