For this contest I strayed away from fantasy art to focus on realism of something that exists in the world today.first I sculpt with clay
next, into the mold and cast resin. You will notice both sides were cast for a whole fish but resin got seized in mold and time was short so I went with a half mount 
The fins are made with sculpey
after that, my personal favorite, paint and clear coat! Just mount on something nice and presto!
