Gothic Warrior Ganesha
The sculpture was inspired by Lord Ganesha from the Hindu Mythology. He is generally depicted as a benevolent God of Wisdom and Auspiciousness, However I wanted to take a dark take on him by showing the warrior side.
The piece is 12.5 inches tall and was made as a part of a college project. The final piece has a shell of Resin and is filled with expanding foam. It was initially crafted in monster clay and then a silicone mold was created to cast the piece. it has been painted by air brushing acrylic inks and then 5 minute epoxy was added to areas which needed extra shine.
