Massive mutant creature 2D process

This was a Drawing I had made for a friend of mine for his birthday. He was going through surgeries for cancer and I wanted to show him as a creature stronger than anything else. It was only going to be a pencil drawing, but as I watched the photoshop video on here it began to evolve. I am very happy with the finished version as I am sure my friend is as well. Enjoy!
