Hi Folks.
Was doing some reading on Elastomer Actuators (or artificial muscles). Something that would work really well in animatronics.

I'm curious to see how different people tackle the challenge of a dilating pupil. I've seen it done with shutters, membranes, or bladders in the past.

I was watching the SWS Jurassic Party video and then I remembered reading this thread about dilating pupils. There's a great bit starting at around 2:01:45 where Jon Dawe explains how he made the dilating pupil for the T-Rex in JP1.
