Mgbedike/Killmonger Inspired Mask
After researching the roots of the Killmonger mask from "Black Panther" I found the Mgbedike mask from the Igbo people in Nigeria. Inspired by these two masks I sculpted my own interpretation! The sculpt was done in monster clay, mold in silicone, and then casted in a urethane resin. I decided to projection map lights onto the piece and sync the lights to a musical composition of mine
