This is Veles, one of the most affluential gods of the Slavonic pantheon. Veles is mostly described as God of welfare and prosperity, wisdom and magic, and also known as God of cattle and all the animals, that`s why he`s usually depicted with either a bear or a wolf. He patronizes creative people with strong organizational skills, strong logic, and those who value family ties above anything else. He is still very popular among Russian heathens.
