Buddy
It's one of my creations, playing with the idea and concept of a terrifying child's imaginary friend... Think of it more as the boogie man who lives hidden in the closet or under the bed, or the basement.
I'm currently a student at CMU College of Makeup Art & Design in Toronto, and Buddy was my project for my Creature Design Class.
Buddy was sculpted out of Monster Clay, later casted out or resin and foam. I used water based acrylic paint with an airbrush and sponges. A 5 minute clear epoxy was use for the inside of the mouth, inside of the cheeks, and teeth to make it look wet, and also use crystal clear resin to make the drool dripping of its mouth. Also there is some crepe hair on each wart and top of its head.
Let me know what you think!
Here is a look through behind the scenes.
