Ubbe the Unicorn
This faux-taxidermy sculpture is based on medieval depictions of the Unicorn. "The Unicorn in Captivity" tapestry illustrates a creature with a deer-like body, a long tail, cloven hooves, a slender snout, and fur similar to a goat.

I used a white-tail fawn taxidermy form and modified it for a slightly more goat-ish appearance. I made a pattern for the faux-fur and sewed it onto the form. The fur for the face was hand-cut and hand-laid. The hooves and facial construction was made from Apoxie-Clay.
