1st entry: tribute to LA LLARONA
This is my tribute to La Llarona. Inspired by the haunted house at Halloween Horror nights. Do you remember getting so scared by something you fell in love? I equate it to watching Jaws or Alien for the first time. After going through the house I couldn’t stop thinking about the “monster” in the house so I made my own. The head is a foam sculpt. The hand extensions and stilts are mostly PVC pipe. The wedding dress/nightgown is made from bed sheets and a very old sewing pattern. The child’s name is Noah because he has no, uh, head.
