Alginate question ?.
Hello,
I've never used this stuff, but I just bought four pounds to try a lifecast of my head and shoulders. I bought four (1) pound bags of something called mimic? Didn't know but it's mint flavor (dental alginate), so I'm asking here if that will affect it at all? It mixes at a slightly over two to one water to alginate ratio. I guess my main question is "Is alginate just alginate?"

For the most part, alginate is alginate. Some products have different additives or slight differences, but you should be good!
