Hi all! I'm making a toupee with dragon skin and having major issues getting the hairs to stay on the base ....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've tried everything even silpoxy and they keep falling out!
Getting hairs to stick in silicone, especially if it's not thick, can be a real challenge. One thing I've seen that works well is tying the hairs to lace (like you would do for a wig of facial hair appliances) and embedding that in the silicone.
If the hairs are punched all the way through it may be possible to apply an adhesive to the underside to help trap them.
