I did the monster mash (up )
The inspiration for this look was a combination of the Split face alien corpse in The Thing (1982) and the practical effects for the Grey baby in the Silent Hill movie, so it ended up being a mash up of those two monsters. I build the whole thing using mainly cotton and latex, and a little bit of tin foil and cling film. The teeth and eye where made using poly-morph plastic and the whole thing was painted with water based face paint and eye shadow. I covered the mouth and eye in a clear nail varnish to make it shiny so it would look wet.
