Boris Karloff inspired Frankenstein's Monster
I tried to imitate the fantastic makeup work by Jack Pierce on Boris Karloff for the original 1931 Frankenstein film. I used Ben Nye grease paint, a Woochie foam forehead modified, Yak hair, Taylor Maid spirit gum, Ben Nye liquid latex, cotton, Mehron Rigid Collodion, a piece of metal from my garage, and painted foam ear plugs for electrodes on the neck.
