Circus Horse Rider
This sculpture is a recreation of an illustration by J. C. Leyendecker. Made out of Apoxie Sculpt, using a dremel tool. My main goal for this piece was to match the illustration while sculpting the 3D form. Painted with acrylics, my focus was to paint in "fake" shadows to match the light and to keep the painterly feeling as on the image.
