Aquatic creature - Bust

Hey everyone!
I’ve been working on this creature for the last couple of weeks, because of the lockdown I had some extra time on my hands.

I sculpted the model together with my partner in crime Lawrence Kelatow. We alternated in sculpting him in WED clay. After that I moulded him with several layers of silicone and made a support shell out of urethane plastic.
He was then rotocasted in translucent polyurethane plastic and backed up with foam.
For colouring I used a combination of hand painting and airbrush. The eyes were painted as well and glossed with 5-minute epoxy.
I used lots of reference pictures of exotic sea life.
