Entry#8 Life size Jackalope bust sculpted in wood
Here is my final piece for this creature painting contest. He is my interpretation of the mysterious Jackolope! Half rabbit, half deer, half alive, half dead 💀 He is sculpted in poplar and I used fallen manzanita for his antlers as well. I brush painted him with Nova acrylic paints. Thank you guys for putting this on, and for everyone checking out my work and the art from all of the amazing artists who are a part of this! In most of my art, (through paintings and sculptures) you can see the massive influence that Sci-Fi and Horror films have had on me and my work. Have a great day☀️
