How do I cast my sculpt

I have no idea how I would go casting this massive head sculpt. I was planning to cast in plaster with a fiberglass mesh as support but I wanted feedback on if there where any other solutions. I drew a simple diagram of how I would go by casting this sculpt which can be found below To segment it I was thinking of using metal sheets cutting the modeling haft and having metal sheets under the mouth so the plaster won't drip onto my desk. Let me know if this is a good idea and what I should go by casting this.

If you're casting in hard plaster, a soft (rubber-like) painted mold with a hard (two or three piece) jacket for support is probably what you want to use. You're also definitely going to want to temporarily fill in the eye and nose cavities. Liquid latex is viscus enough where if you're careful painting it on there wont be much dripping.

Are you making a slosh cast of the head piece?

I dont think im going to go with a slosh cast.

It seems hard to mold because those horns will give you massive under cuts if you you cast it down the center line. Maybe a three parter would work. A lot of it depends on what you're planning the final product to be. If you're doing latex or silicone you might be able to get away with those undercuts if you use a good amount of release. Any update on this project? Also what did you sculpt it in?
