The Palasik
Long ago, in Minangkabau land, which is located in the western part of Sumatra Island, Indonesia, there were people who seeks supernatural power by doing the unthinkable: sucking the blood of a living--and sometimes, dead--baby. They hunt at night in a peculiar way, by separating their head from the body, and sent them flying in search of a prey. These people were called the Palasik. And many believes that the baby eater still lives amongst us today.
