Fleur de Mort (Flower of Death)
Alone in the forest, you are met with a feeling of beautiful agony. Flower petals force their way out of your scalp as sharp thorns slowly rip through your skin. Leaves appear as your eyes darken with dread. You are transforming from the inside out and there is no way to stop it. Nature is fighting back...All items are handmade, except the dress which was thrifted. I first sculptured the base of the face prosthetic out of air dry clay. As well as the thorns. Then made the prosthetic out of liQuid latex and cotton. The head piece as well as the body is airbrushed.
Inspired by the 2008 film “The Happening” and the original “Alice in Wonderland”.
