I began by creating my own patterns by using the duct tape dummy method as well as geometry to create the broken shapes attached to the armor. The armor is made out of Eva foam of different thicknesses (2mm, 4mm & 8mm). I shaped the foam with a heat gun and connected the pieces using contact cement and E6000. The armor was then hand painted with acrylics from head to toe. The fabric for the cape was cut into 3 pieces and then reassembled to give it more width and movement. I used Velcro to attach the cape to the armor and to hold the armor in place at the seams.
