For which jobs could I use the calipers?

i saw this cool set of calipers on amazon and wanted to know for which jobs these three different ones work.

The top one is for measuring outside distances.
The middle one is for measuring point to point distances.
The bottom one is for measuring inside distances.

They are all great to have on hand!
