Red-Shanked Douc Monkey
This was my final project for the Prosthetics module at Blanche Macdonald. I wanted to do a monkey but not a gorilla or a chimpanzee… a different one. When I saw a picture of this colorful monkey on Instagram, I knew that was the one… It was my first time sculpting, molding and casting with gelatin and I have to say it wasn’t easy at all but I loved how it turned out!! I Didn’t have the chance to sculpt and pour the brow piece so I made it out of latex paste.
