Asura character from Guild Wars 2
My name is Galina and I do cosplay costumes, make-up and bodypaint for fun.
My submission for the contest depicts a Guild Wars 2 game character – an asura. The asura are a race of diminutive artisans who secretly dwelt below-ground for thousands of years.
For the bodypaint I used Snazaroo paints. The ears are made of EVA foam draped with cotton fabric to create wrinkles and painted with acrylic paints. EVA foam was also used for the rest of the costume.
I also tried a more sinister approach depicted in the triptych.
