First Alien Concept Drawing -Looking for suggestions & feedback

Hi all, 

I've just started my first character creation concept. I like how its looking but I just can't grasp how the hands should look. I see a 3 finger 1 thumb hand, and clawed but I just can't properly visualise it to draw. Any help would be appreciated! Also any suggestions on reference material.



I've been watching the concept drawing tutorials and other drawing tutoris on the site but hands are like kryptonite to me ... I just can't get them right. It's annoying.

    Awesome character design concept Gemma!  Hands are the hardest.  I usually take a quick photo of my hand in the position I'm looking for then use that as a reference.  Keep it up!
