Ray Bradbury's The Groon Puppet (speed sculpt and composit)
in Puppets
When I was working on the documentary Live Forever: The Ray Bradbury Odyssey, Ray had said he wanted a reenactment of one of his childhood nightmares, which he said he would see at the top of his staircase. He called it The Groon, and said that he didn't want it to be depicted as a solid creature that you could describe, but rather just a mass of teeth, eyes, claws, and smoke. This is what I came up with. He passed away before he could see it, and the film only ever saw one screening. http://vimeo.com/66361810
