Pan from Pan's Labyrinth
Here he is! Been working on him since June yet he can still use a bit of work-shopping. My main goal with this costume was to create something that doesn't attempt to mimick the original, because I know that with my materials that could never happen. So I went the route of making it look more esthetically pleasing rather than a failed copy. I drew inspiration from tribal art techniques and their resourcefulness in that I used a lot of upcycled materials and a lot of stuff downright fished from the trash. Who knew paper mâchéing tea bags could add a great antique effect? Very cheap! Everything cost under 100$. Here's a link to see him in action:
