Khargol - Original Reptile Alien Bust

This a bust I had made while attending Douglas Education Center and was my first ever full-size bust. It was sculpted from WED clay, molded in Ultra-Cal 30, casted with mask latex then filled with Smooth-On Pillow-Soft Foam. The feathers are real rooster feathers, and the dreads are made from Monster Maker's foam-latex. The teeth were made from Smooth Cast 300, and the eyes made from acrylic, then painted. The bust was painted with a mix of airbrush and chip brushes. The is about 20 inches long. The sculpt was inspired by Tegu/Rock Iguana lizards, and their colors.
