WED Clay vs. Other water based clays

Hello, I am having a problem finding WED clay in my area and was wondering if anyone knew the composition of WED clay vs. stoneware or earthenware clays? Which of those clay bodies are close to WED, if at all. Thanks.

    In my opinion, you could use a white earthenware clay without grog (Philippe Faraut uses it). It's not the same but it will works well for you.

    Thank you for the information. I have worked with various stoneware and earthenware clay bodies for years and I even have a kiln! My clay supplier is not a Laguna distributor so I have to find a substitute. I had a feeling that a plain old earthenware would do the trick. Thank you again. I'll let you all know how it works out.
