HEROES AND VILLAINS CONTEST: American Eagle
The American Eagle is a Native American capt in the US Airforce. In his linage are chieftans, warriors and shamans. He was called home by the tribal elders who'd had a vision of a great evil that would soon come to bedevil the land. Going through a sacred ceremony he gained acess not just to his spirit animal (the bald eagle) but it able to merge with it gaining a demihuman form and great power.
The goverment has outfitted American Eagle with high impact but lightweight armor. A heat seeking lance and a shield which can offer phyical proection from armor piercing rounds and rockets from fighter jets.
