Creature sculpting contest : Raigaruda the dragonian warrior
Raigaruda it's an outcast.
Its ancient tribe lives under the mountain, close to the core of primordial earth, surrounded by tunnels and big caverns.
They gather and collect ore, minerals and jewels. Raigaruda`s deepest desire is to live outside, spread his big wings and fly away. He knows human kind and he knows they are greedy and selfish. He decides to fight to live so he becomes a ruthless bounty hunter and a strong warrior.
That's the idea behind my sculpture, good for a possible fantasy movie where the main character needs a very strong "middle boss". A strong figure, cool and with a deep background, good enough to become a possible ally or a strong and respected enemy.
I sculpted this character using chavant, medium grade, and few pieces using super sculpy. ( weapon, horns, teeth, etc) .
Silicone molded and casted in fast cast resin. Painting has been processed by mixing brushes and hairbrush techniques.
