I’m new to creature effects and this forum. My question is how do I make a silicone copy of this creature I created out of clay. Since the shape of it is pretty weird, because it’s got a hole in the middle, I don’t know what to do. I need the hole because I want to make it movable like a tentacle. I hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Hi Joshua, it is a two part mold, you will need to plug the hole in the top, make a mold. Then you need to make a cylinder to represent the hole and float it in the other mold, usually you make a throw away mold and then a positive from that, then you can pour your skin.See the attached picture.Hope this helps.5
